Leap Of Faith
by Jay Fiset

"Never be afraid to give up good for great." Kenny Rogers

This quote begs the question, what would you need to give up to move from good to great?

Honestly most of us have good lives, a good job, a good spouse or partner, a good home, a good sense of self, good connection to spirit, even good goals. We get to eat good food, drink good water and live in a good country. Frankly in North America we have a whole lot of good, but lets be frank, we are not overwhelmed by GREAT! In fact, it may be the very fact that things are so "good" that we do not raise the bar to GREAT. We are too comfortable, too complacent, too willing to accept mediocre as the standard. Truth be told, most of us are pretty darn satisfied with good, but what about GREAT? What would it take for you to create a GREAT life?

I believe that the first questions to ask are: Are you willing to take a stand to be GREAT? Are you willing to entertain the idea that beyond all the good in your life you could experience GREAT? This is no small question, consider: Would you let go of security to create abundance? Would you risk disapproval to create honesty? Would you let go of your excuses to experience accountability? Would you give up safety to experience freedom?

Is it more work to live a GREAT life? Do you need to be smarter to live a GREAT life? I do not believe so, in fact over the long view I believe committing to greatness is actually the path to flow, ease and joy in all areas of life. However, it does take a leap of faith, a clarity of purpose and a willingness to let go of what we know, what we are comfortable with and step into the unknown.

In what life areas are you willing to take the leap of faith to GREATness?
Relationships, Wealth and abundance, Self Care, Health, Career, Spirituality, Sexuality, Education

Of course the next question; What will you give up to go from good to GREAT in those life areas? Yes it can be scary, but start small. Pick one life area, get clear about what you must let go of then do it. Take the leap of faith!

Remember, to experience the freedom of the open sea you must lose sight of the shoreline. You deserve a GREAT life! Jay Fiset
